Dazhong Wu is a nonprofit founder, strategic operator, and sustainability leader whose work centers on building global platforms that integrate youth leadership, technological innovation, and international collaboration. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Global ESG Leadership Association (GELA), a New York–registered nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals through research, education, and cross-sector partnership. Under his direction, GELA has grown into an international ecosystem spanning major universities, entrepreneurial programs, and policy-oriented research, with an expanding footprint across North America, Asia, and Australia.

Mr. Wu is the creator of GELA’s Trinity Framework, a governance and operational architecture that unifies three global platforms: a multi-university alliance forming one of the world’s most dynamic youth sustainability networks; the Alpha Centauri Accelerator, which supports early-stage ventures in ESG-aligned industries; and the SustainX Institute for Sustainable Development & Innovation, an interdisciplinary research institute focused on artificial intelligence, biomedicine, sustainable finance, and global governance. His leadership has facilitated collaborations with United Nations partners, philanthropic institutions, academic organizations, and industry leaders, strengthening GELA’s role as a convening force for dialogue, innovation, and capacity building.

In addition to his nonprofit leadership, Mr. Wu has professional experience across alternative asset investing and investment banking. He previously served as an Alternative Assets Investment Analyst at KCY Family Office, where he evaluated private credit, hedge funds, secondary funds, and niche alternative strategies, contributing to asset allocation, due diligence, and risk assessment across diverse global managers. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at CITIC Securities, supporting transactions and research in capital markets and corporate finance. His multidisciplinary background—spanning finance, risk management, and organizational strategy—underpins his ability to bridge capital, technology, and sustainable development.

Mr. Wu holds a Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the School of Finance and Statistics at Hunan University. He has been recognized as a Sichuan Provincial Outstanding Student Cadre and a Hunan Provincial Outstanding Graduate, distinctions awarded for leadership, excellence, and contributions to institutional development.
