SustainX Institute
GELA Institute for Sustainable Development & Innovation
The SustainX Institute—formally known as the GELA Institute for Sustainable Development & Innovation—is the independent research arm affiliated with the Global ESG Leadership Association (GELA).
As the third pillar of GELA’s global tri-structure, the Institute operates under GELA’s governance and strategic umbrella while maintaining independent academic authority, research autonomy, and its own professional identity.
This dual institutional design—“affiliated yet autonomous”—enables SustainX Institute to uphold the integrity of rigorous research while leveraging GELA’s global network, youth ecosystem, and multilateral partnerships.
We focus on producing frontier knowledge, accelerating scientific innovation, and shaping the future of sustainable development for a rapidly transforming world.
